  • 10% Service Fee: This is based on the pilot’s day rate.

  • Payment Processing

    • 3% Credit Card Service Fee: This applies to all payments made through credit cards.

    • $5 ACH Service Fee: This applies to all payment made with ACH bank payment

For instance, consider hiring a PC-12 pilot where the average day rate is $1,000/day

  • Hiring a pilot for one day would result in:

    • Flying Company Service Fee: $100 (10% of $1,000)

    • Credit Card Fee: $33 (3% of $1,100)

    • ACH Payment Fee: $5

    • Total Additional Cost: ~ $133 (credit card) / $105 (ACH payment)

Example Breakdown: Ted Striker’s Trip

Let’s break it down for a more complex trip:

  • Flying Days (2 days x $1,750/day) = $3,500

  • Travel Days (2 days x $1,500/day) = $3,000

  • Flying + Travel Days = $6,500

    • Flying Company 10% Service Fee = $650

  • Per Diem: 4 days * $100/day = $400

  • Subtotal = $7,550

    • Credit Card 3% Fee = ~$226.50

The “Pre-Trip Total” is the estimated cost for pilot services, travel days, per diem, and base service fee, subject to mission changes.

Actual expenses, such as hotel, ground travel, air travel, and any additional costs, will be added after the trip and may vary from the estimates provided. These expenses will incur an additional service fee.
